Mrs. Andrew Dodunski has now returned from a visit to her sister, Mrs. L. Gopperth, Pihama. Mrs. Martin snr. was a recent visitor to Toko and Stratford, where she was the guest of Mrs. Robinson, Pembroke Road. Mrs, Olliver has returned to Lepperton after visiting Mrs. M. Julian. Mrs. Terrence Bartram left yesterday morning to spend a few days at Wellington. Mrs. Maindonald is the guest of Mrs. Joseph Peters. Mrs. H. D. Law has arrived from New Plymouth to live at Inglewood. Mrs. Norman Spurdle was a recent visitor to Kapuni, where she was the guest of Mrs. Leo Spurdle. Miss Frances Thomas, Motueka, who has been staying at Inglewood with Miss Shirley Reardon, has left for Auckland and Tauranga before returning to the South Island. Mrs. R. J. Crossman, Trentham, was recently the guest of Mrs. E. G. Long. Mrs. Walter Bublitz has returned to Stratford after spending a few days at Inglewood with her mother-in-law, Mrs. A. Bublitz. Miss Joye Kaye has returned from Auckland, where she was the guest of Mrs. A. J. Meyer. Mrs. Gray has returned to Hamilton. Miss Margaret Laurence, Mangatoki, was recently the guest of Mrs. A. Gargan. Mrs. Brookes has returned from Stratford, where she was the guest of Mrs. Robinson. Mrs. McKay. Wellington, was recently the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. G. Ashton. Mrs. Paul has returned from Auckland. Mrs. Gray is staying with relatives at Marton. A surprise party met at the homa of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lavell during the week, the occasion being the wedding anniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Lavell, Mr. and Mrs. G. Mackie (New Plymouth) and Mr. and Mrs. R. Phillips. Cards and games were played during the evening and music was played by Miss T. Skellern.
