MORE CLOTHES SENT
stratford guild work Twelve cartons, containing 966 articles of clothing, ; were yesterday dispatched by the Stratford Lady Galway Patriotic Guild to headquarters at Wellington. The consignment also included 29 quilts. So busy has been the guild since its inception that the huge quantity of used clothes in its Fenton Street depot is now substantially reduced. An officer of the guild stated last night that fresh supplies of used and washed clothing would shortly be required. Meanwhile the guild is working at high pressure. Among those who contributed- to yesterday's consignment from the Stratford centre were members of the Bird Road, Huinga and Pembroke Road branches of the W.D.F.U. and Mrs. P. T. Aitken's Swansea Road sewing circle.
