GENERAL
Card Evening. To swell the funds of the Turuturu institute, a five hundred party drew an attendance of 40 members and friends. Highest scores were made by Mesdames Edgecombe, Horgan and L. George, and consolation prizes were won by Mesdames W. Howard, S. Cook and Reid. Mrs. K. Milne won the prize for flags, and a travelling prize went to Mrs. J. V. Shaw.
