Following Tattersall's meeting, the order of favouritism for the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps suffered little change. Reading remained the Metropolitan favourite. it apparently being assumed that if he does not win the Epsom his display will be sufficiently good to taka him to favouritism for the longer race. Perhaps after last Saturday Beau Vite has become equal favourite with him. The order of popularity after Tatterall's was:— Epsom Handicap. Bcaulivre. High Caste. Reading, Mildura. Tel Asur, Radical.
