NEW PLYMOUTH TRACK
NO GALLOPS YESTERDAY With H. Dulieu's team for Foxton away there was no fast work on the New Plymouth tracks this morning, all the horses being restricted to steady pace On the plough Minority and Davilia completed a round of pace work by running the last half-mile at three-quarter pace. Minority came through his Avondale racing in good style. Mountain Fox who appears to have »one the right way since winning at the Combined Hunts' meeting was let off with an easy tasx. He may be tried over a middle distance at Stratford. Aussie Ra hit out in good style over a round of pace work. He is bearing a healthy appearance but no plans have been made for his future programme. Boden Park hit out freely over a circuit at a good half-pace. He is looking well. . Lexden, who is carrying more condition than formerly, strode out freely over a round. He is not pulling as mueh as he did previously. Mahaina was restricted to easy pace work and Rollicker worked on the inside grass.
