AID FOR PATRIOTIC FUND One direction in which the anti-waste campaign may be extended is in the saving of used postage stamps, as the Opunake Patriotic Committee has learned. At a recent meeting, it was reported that Misses Taynton and Ingram had undertaken the collection of used stamps, and the result of the first month's effort was a return of 5s 9d. There appeared to be every likelihood that with complete organisatipn and the co-operation of business houses a regular monthly contribution of 10s would result from that source, it was stated.
