EXTRA SIDING

PROVISION AT STRATFORD Another siding to facilitate the unloading of goods from trucks in the Stratford railway yard by carriers will be laid as soon as a survey now being made is finished. The new siding will branch from the present main carriers' line north of the goods shed and further on will branch to give a double head to the siding. With the present lines, goods cannot be unloaded from the trucks as fast as the carriers are capable of carting the goods away. The new lines will enable the carriers to unload faster and to work more efficiently than is possible at present.
