STRATFORD SHOW
ADJUSTMENT OF DATES Another adjustment had to be made in the show dates, it was reported to a meeting of the general committee of the Stratford A. and P. Association yesterday. Wanganui had withdrawn from the circuit, thus advancing the Stratford dates a week to November 22 and 23. The- donations from the Stratford business people towards the prize fund this year constituted a record, the sum of nearly £80 being collected from Broadway in cash and trophies. The fact of | the show being held for patriotic pur- ' poses had, no doubt, helped considerably. It was the ambition of the association to hold a successful show and ultimately to hand over to the patriotic committee a substantial amount. Anyone still desirous of adding to the donation list would still be able to.
