KAPONGA CARD PARTY
Ten tables of euchre and two tables of bridge were in play at a patriotic card 7>arty at Kaponga recently. Prizes for euchre were given by Mrs. K. Andrews and Mr. L. Beer. Mrs. E. W. Snowdon gave a prize for bridge. Winners of euchre were Mrs. A. R. Bates 1, Mrs. H. W. Bocock 2, Mrs. B. E. Cleland consolation; Mr. A. Franklin 1, Mr. W. G. Cran 2. Mr. Les Gilbanks consolation. Mrs. J. Tattersall was the wir.ner at bridge. The proceeds amounted to £2 7s 6d,
