DERBY FAVOURITE
Pandect, who is; the ruling favourite for the A.J.C. Derby to be run at Randwick next month is by Peter Pan's sire. Pantheon. His dam, Credit, has a New Zealand pedigree, being by Paper Money from Killina by Kilbroney from Ena by Orvieto. Paper Money was the sire of Expense, the dam of Defaulter. Pandect drew attention to his Derby prospects when he finished strongly in third place in the Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
