JUDGMENTS FOR DEBT

CLAIMS AT NEW PLYMOUTH Judgment by default was given by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., on the following claims for debt at New Plymouth yesterday:— Whites Ltd. v. Marsh, £17 0s 6d (£2 16s); same v. S. C. Marshall, £6 18s (£1 13s 6d) ; same v. E. T. Northcott, £9 7s 6d (£1 10s 6d); Paramount Tyre Service Ltd. v. T. Tito, £1 5s (16s); J. B. MacEwan and Co. Ltd. v. M. W. Jones, £9 6s (£1 11s 6d); same v. P. Broughton, £13 6s 9d (£2 14s); same v.F. Forrest, 19s (15s). Under judgment summonses orders were made at the suit of the Taranaki Hospital Board for payment by R. W. Watson of £17 9s (£1 ls) by October 17, in default 10 days' imprisonment; and by A. G. Austin of £12 10s (£1 ls), in default seven days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended on payment at the rate of 10s a fortnight. At the suit of A. W. Salaman an order was made for payment by J. H. Clement of £18 13s forthwith, in default seven days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended on payment of £1 a month for three months, the first payment to be in a month's time and the warrant to be suspended indefinitely thereafter.
