GRAND THEATRE FARE.
"MAISIE"— "EVERYBODY SING." Robert Young and Ann Sothern as a respective ranch manager and a showgirl stranded in a Wyoming carnival town, are the chief protagonists of "Maisie," the smartly-paced, cleverdialogued and well-directed picture which will be shown at the Grand Theatre to-night Both Young and Miss Sothern show what they can do with meaty roles and entertainment-packed situatioris in this story which, although placed against eye-striking and picturesque backgrounds of the cattle country, is decidedly not a Western in the accepted sense, but is an original ai%d highly modern story of four people placed in dramatic juxtaposition. Such stage and screen headliners as Allan Jones, Judy Garland, Fanny Brice. Reginald Owen, Billie Burke, Reginald Gardiner and Lynne Carver join hands to contribute a wealth of musical and acting talent to "Everybody Sing," the second attraction on this double star programme as one of the most original and infectious musicals yet to reach the talking screen.
