CONTROL OF DANUBE Rec. 8.30 p.m. London, Sept. 13. Russia has informed Germany that, as the Soviet Union is a State bordering the Danube (th rough' the acquisition of Rumanian territory), it must participate in any discussions about control of the Danube. A Note to this effect has been sent to Berlin following a German announcement that a conference had been called at Vienna to consider modification of the international status of the Danube waterway.
