Mrs. P. V. Graves, who has been spending several days at Wellington, returned to Waverley on Wednesday. Misses Valerie and Mildred Mathews, who have been the guests of their mother, Mrs. W. Mathews, have returned to Wanganui. Mrs. G. H. Alexander, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Badham, Auckland, has returrfed home. Miss Marjorie Lupton, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. G. Lupton, has returned to Wanganui. Mrs. D. Lupton, who was a Waverley visitor to Wellington for several days, has returned home. Miss Margaret Boycr, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. Boyer, for several weeks, has returned to Marton. Miss Clare Newland, who was a visitor to Wanganui for several days, has returned home. Mrs. W. Alexander, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned. Miss Daphne Morrison, who has been visiting Waverley, has returned to Wanganui. Mrs. N. Hislop, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. A. L. Elmslie, "Athol," has returned to Wairarapa. Miss Marjorie Elmslie has returned to Wanganui. Mrs. Holliday, Raglan, who has been the guest of Mrs. C. Oarsman, has returned home. Mrs. Fleet, who spent several days at Waverley^ has returned to Auckland. Mrs. Parkes, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. H. Mathieson, has returned to Wanganui. Miss Jean Boyne has returned to Wanganui. Mrs. J. Bourke entertained friends recently in honour of Mrs. Holliday, Raglan, who lived at Waverley for several years. The evening was spent in competitions and games.
