Miss Nancy Hurley, who has taken up nursing at Wanganui, was farewelled by the office stafl of the Patea Freezing Co. prior to her departure. A fountain pen and slippers were presented to her and Mr. S. Edwards and Miss Cowie wished her future success. Miss Hurley was also entertained at a surprise party when Mr. Pat Freer on behalf of her friends presented her with a handbag and a cheque.
