WAITARA PLUNKET WORK
The monthly meeting of the Waitara Plunket Society was held on Monday, Mrs. W. B. Glasgow presiding. The nurses' report for August stated: Babies on books, old 64, new 3; visits to homes, old 36, new '; visits to offlce, adults 119, bobies 114; pre-school children 29; domestic hygiene 2; children under supervision 55; visits to Waitara 5. The president thanked those who helped with the children's party, especially Mesdames Payne and Morey, Beryl Quay and pupils, and Rex Appleby for playing the music. Subscriptions were acknowledged from Mesdames J. W. Hamlin, L». St. George, J. Wallace, J. C. Hills and L. J. Burns.
