CROQUET SEASON OVER

OFFICIAL CLOSING AT FITZROY. With the greens in good order and a record crowd present, the Fitzroy Croquet Club had a very successful day yesterday for the official closing for the season. The gathering took the form of an open afternoon at which all New Plymouth clubs were strongly represented. Three competitions were held and attracted entries. Results are as follow; Golf Croquet.—Mrs. Honeyfield 1, Mrs. Brown 2. Trial Croquet.- -Mrs. Ebcrlct 1. Target Croquet.—Mrs, lOberlet and Mrs. Morrison 21; Mrs. Eberlct winning the prize.
