DRUNKEN MAN’S DEATH

BRAWL AT CARD PARTY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 25. The coroner (Mr. Dixon) held an inquest at Balclutha concerning the death of Victor Mark Larsen, aged 39, who died in the Balclutha Hospital on Monday. The evidence showed that the deceased went to a card party intoxicated and was told either to behave or leave. He attempted to strike the president (Mr. T. Milne) and fell out of the door on to the pavement, sustaining head injuries, which at first were thought to be trifling. The coroner found that death was due to concussion, the deceased man alone being blamable.
