RUSH BACK TO WORK CONTINUES.

FOURTEEN THOUSAND IN ONE DAY

The greatest increase in the number of miners resuming work since the stoppage was recorded to-day, when 14,000 returned, making the total now working 390,381. In many districts the men formed queues at the colliery offices in order to secure favoured positions. Several pits have re-opened for the first time, including five in Northumberland.
