MARIST BROTHERS’ JUBILEE
POPE SENDS CONGRATULATIONS.
(By Wire—Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night.
A message from His Holiness Popo Pius XI, congratulating the Marist Brothers on the attainment this year of the jubilee of their institution in New Zealand, was received to-day by the Provincial of the Order, Brother Justin, through the Papal Secretary of State. Cardinal Gasparri. It reads: “The Holy Father sends his apostolic blessing to the Marist Brothers’ community and to the pupils an! benefactors on the occasion of its jubilee. (Signed) Cardinal Gasparri.”
