Sir Alan Cobham is taking on board the Honierie a small Moth seaplane for an American purchaser. When the liner approaches New York Sir Alan will take a number of mail bags and fly ashore. •

Sir Alan says he has long thought of such air co-operation to speed up mail delivery,. He will work out during the voyage the possibility of liners carrying larger aeroplanes for a similar pure pose.
