EMPIRE FILM INDUSTRY
GOVERNMENT HELP NEEDED. By Telegraph—Prm Assn.— Copyright. London, Nov. 11. Lord Burnham presided at a meeting of the Colonial Institute, when an Empire film scheme was discussed. A resolution was passed expressing the opinion that it was vital to the welfare of the trade that the Governments should co-operate to encourage film production, also appointing an advisory committee to co-ordinate inter-imperial efforts. The committee includes Messrs. Fairbairn and Colebatch, Agents-General for Victoria and Westralia, Sir James Parr, Sir Phillip Gibbs, Lord Askwith and Lord Danes fort.
