NEGLIGENT RIDING

COLLISION WITH A CAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 12. Arising out of a collision betwwen a horse he was riding and a motor-car in Happy Valley on Labour Day, which resulted in his being taken to hospital and the horse destroyed, a youth, George Reginald Malden Hare, was today charged with negligent riding. The evidence was that defendant approached the car with his head down and practically on the horse's wither. He was fined £3 and costs.
