FIRST TEST MATCH. NEW ZEALAND TEAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Christchurch, Last Night. The following team lias been selected to represent New Zealand In the first test match against the M.C.C. team: N. Sneddon, S. G. Smith, Rountree, Alleott, D. R. Garrard, McLeod (Auckland) ; Hiddleston, Brice, Collins (Wellington) ; Blunt (Canterbury) ; Shepherd (Otago). Twelfth man: Gilliand (Otago). NORTH TARANAKI v. AUCKLAND The Rev. W. J. Elliott and Mr. F. W Packman have been appointed umpires for the North Taranaki-Auckland match to-morrow and on Christmas Day.
