Major Ormsby Gore has written in reply t oMr. Wilson (Laborite) stating that during the past six montiw 12,5121 persons, including 8218 ex-servicemen, have been granted assisted pajwaga® overseas, at a cost of £236,478. Of these 3552 went to Australia and 764 to New Zealand under the Settlement Act, at a coet of £32,373, of which £5147 ia recoverable.
