BAYLY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. XIST OF ENTRANTS. The athletic events In connection with the Bayly memorial scholarship for boys under 14 will be decided at the High School grounds, New Plymouth, on Saturday’ next, commencing nt 11 a.m. This year twenty-five entries, representative of most of the leading schools in the province, have been received, an increase of five on last year, whilst Ip previous years such keen interest was not aroused, and the number of competitors was much smaller. Following are the competitors, wltn the name of the school attended: — Central, New Plymouth—Frank Davis, Cyril Korff, John Warner. Eltham.—Robert Cuff, John Groves, Vincent Hitchcock. Oakura.—Jack Wilkins. Fltzroy.—Harry George, Ivel Dickey, Gordon Hyfleld, Donald Parkin. Hawera.—Spencer Anderson, Raymond Duckwnrth. Stratford primary—Howard Moor, James Boon, Harry Taylor, Robert Clarke. New Plymouth Boys’ High School.—S. McCann, R. H. Sampson, H. Olson, J. Medley, P. Grover, H. Fookes, L. Barlow, D. Johns.
