DEATH FROM BURNS.
FATE OF LITTLE GIRL. A fiix-year-old girl, named Mary Martha Frost, died in the Stratford Hospital at 1.30 p.m. yesterday from the effects of burns. It appears that the girl, who lives with her parents at Sunny Road, Inglewood. was alone in the house yesterday morning while her people were away milking the cows. On returning to the house it was found that the child’s clothes had caught on fire, and that she had been severely burned. She was removed to the Stratford hospital at 9 a.m., where she died 4J hours later. An inquest will be necessary.
