UNREST IN EUROPE.

MAY BE WORSE YET. By Telegraph.—Pre» Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 14, 10 p.m. Ottawa, Nov. 13. Mr. Phillip Kerr (a former editor of the Round Table), addressing the Canadian Chib at Montreal, blamed the Near East trouble for the gradual disappearance of Allied unity. He said the Americans set the pace in withdrawing from the League of Nations and having nothing more to do in the coherent settlement of the affairs of the world. “It will be worse yet, until we return to the point of view reached after the war, whose effect latterly has really been to Balkanise the world,” he added. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
