WEST END SCHOOL.

PLAIN AND FANCY DRESS BALL. Considerable interest is being evinced in riie plain and fancy dress ball which is to be held in the Workers’ Social Hall on Friday night in aid of the funds of the West End School, and it is expected that it will eclipse previous functions. 'Complete arrangements have been made to ensure the enjoyment of all. The grand march for the children will take place at 7 p.m., and Mesdames Walker and Weston have promised to award the prizes, for which the competition should be keen. The commitlee is awarding prizes to the boy and girl respectively in the bast fancy dress, in the most original costume, in the best poster dress, and the best national dress. The price of admission lias been fixed at Children Is. gentlemen 2s 6d. ladies Is fid.
