AN EXTRA SURPRISE PACKET. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Tn the Police Court, Richard French Barter, secretary of the Labor Day Committee, was fined £lO on a charge of having disposed of a watch, by Tottery. The facts were that surprise packets were sold in connection with the Labor Day celebrations without a permit from the Minister.
