VITAL STATISTICS.
NEW PLYMOUTH RETURNS. DECREASE IN BIRTHS. The vital statistics recorded in New Plymouth during October reveal a decrease in the population with 13 less births and five more deaths, as compared with the corresponding period last year. The number of marriages recorded also shows a decrease of two. Following are the details:— 1922. 1921. Births 37 50 Death® 18 13 Marriages 7 9
