The annual opening of the Rahotu green took place on Monday. Visitors were present from the surrounding clubs, and desplto the strong westerly wind which blew continuously, a most enjoyable day’s outing resulted Mr. A. Chapman (president), in an appropriate speech, extended a hearty web. to the numerous visitors, and said Rahotu Club would be pleased at all times to see members cf other clubs on their green. The visitors were also entertained to afternoon tea by the ladles. At the conclusion of play, Mr. F. Roebuck returned thanks on behalf of the visitors.
