VITAL STATISTICS.
NEW PLYMOUTH FIGURES. The vital statistics recorded in New Plymouth show an increase in population during the past nine months of the year, there being 48 more births and 17 fewer deaths- as compared with the corresponding period last year. There has been one -more marriage than was recorded during September last year, but the total to date for the nine months is less by 13 than the total for that period during 1921. Following are the details for the month, the quarter, and nine months ended September 30, with comparative figures for last year.
