CUSTOMS REVENUE.

INCREASED RETURNS. The Customs revenue collected at the port of New Plymouth during September shows an increase of close on £2OO over the corresponding period for last year, the figures being £5933 19s, as against £5757 Is lid for September, 1921. The beer duty also shows an increase with £263 9s lid, as compared with £213 4s Bd, the total increase, adding the two returns together, being £227 2s 4d.
