VESSEL IN TROUBLE.
BREAK-DOWN AT SEA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following message has been received by wireless by the secretary of the P. and T. Department:—“l.3B p.m.: The following was intercepted from Adelaide to Esperance: ‘S.S. Kiso Manx is in trouble, latitude 7.47 north, longitude 109.34 east; please pass on to Perth to listen for him. Nature of trouble is a broken shaft. A vessel is proceeding to assistance.’ ”
