TRAMS TO WESTOWN.

SUPPORT FROM VOGELTOWN. The proposal to extend the trams to Westown was again discussed at a meeting of the Vogeltown Progressive Association last night. The question was dealt with by several speakers on the lines of previous discussions, after which the following resolution was carried unanimously:—• “That this meeting of the Vogeltown Progressive Association agrees to support the loan proposals to extend the tramway system to Westown. and urges residents of Vogeltown to support the proposal at the poll to be taken on the 28th inst.

Arrangements were made to organise the district to obtain a good vote on these lines.
