RIGHTS OF INDIANS.

FREE LIBERTY DENIED. ATTITUDE OF DOMINIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn -—Copyright. Received Sept. 11, 10.15 p.m. Ottawa, Sept. 11. Speaking at Montreal, Mr. Sastri said that, rightly or wrongly, many young man of India find in the failure of Canada and other countries to extend to Hindu residents full citizenship, evidence that their nation will not be accorded the full privileges of membership of the British Empire. It is argued from this that the white man is unwilling to give full liberty to India, and that adds another difficulty in the way of those who believe in the British connection.—Aus.-N.Z.
