GERMAN DREAM.
MASTERY OF, THE AIR, REMARKABLE ACTIVITY. EVADING THE TREATY. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Sept. 11, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 10. The Morning Post’s Paris correspondent states that Germany continues to display amazing initiative in an attempt to secure mastery of the air. A French expert informs the correspondent that Germany’s carefully-devised plan is inspired by the pre-war Imperialist dream to march on Constantinople. The Junkers, Zeppelin and Dorniers firms are particularly active and have established great experimental shops and laboratories. The former has designed several new machines, while Dorniers’ firm has made nine new types of Fokker and is proposing to evade the control of the Allied mission, and has established factories in the Netherlands. Junkers have factories in Switzerland, Dorniers in Italy, and ,Zeppelin in Spain. Special aircraft chairs have been established in German schools, which in a few years will produce corps of skilled pilots and engin-eers.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
