WAITARA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) At the Waitara Methodist Spring Flowers' Show to be held on Thursday and Friday next there will be some special displays of narcissi. Included in the exhibits will be one from R. Gibson, of Manaia, who last year beat all competitors at Wellington, Hutt, and Marton. The committee are to be commended for giving the public this opportunity of seeing blooms from the gardens "of prominent growers in the district. Liberal prizes are being offered which ,should be an inducement to anyone with early blooms to send along entries., which dose at the parsonage to-morrow (Wednesday) night.
