CHICAGO HARVESTER KING.
MARRIED TO A SINGER. Vancouver, August n. Harold F. McCormick, formerly president of the International Harvester Company, who married Edith, the daughter of John D. Rockfeller, in 1895, has married Madame Ganna Walska, in Paris., Viadame Walska created a furore in Chicago two years ago, as one of the stars of the Chicago Grand Opera Company, of which McCormick and his former wife were the principal guarantors. The company employed her while visiting Paris, but on the day of her announced debut, she packed her bags and left for New York. It was reported that the conductor, Signor Marinuzzo, at the dress rehearsal, criticised her ability as a singer.
