The police are systematically searching Paris suburban hqtels. It is believed the officer was formerly an assistant military attache at the German Embas-sy.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. AN ARREST MADE. Received Aug. 27, 5.5 p.m. Paris. August 2G. The police responsible for the safety of M. Poincare arrested a man who is believed to belong to the German secret organisation which is responsible for the murder of Herr Rathenau.
