R.S.A. BALL.
TO-NIGHT’S FUNCTION. Very complete and extensive preparations have been made for the Returned Soldiers’ Association annual ball, which takes place in the Coronation Hall tonight, while the children’s ball will be held to-morrow night. The scheme of decorations is on a more lavish scale than ever. The supper arrangements are in the hands of a very capable committee of ladies, principally the wives of returned men, and no pains have been spared in this direction. A feature of the arrangements this year will be the cloak rooms, which have been so adapted and will be so arranged as to ensure against delay and loss. A ticket system has been adopted for both ladies’ and gentlemen’s rooms, and this will add to the ease and comfort with which this part of the proceedings will be carried through. Excellent music will be prqvided, and a good floor is assured.
