WEDDING.

MAY—McKINNA. A quiet wedding was celebrated at the Baptist Church, Niew Plymouth, on Tuesday, when Miss Stella Barr Mc- . Kinna, youngest daughter of Mrs. McKinna, Young Street, New Plymouth, was married to Mr, Frederick - Edwin May, second son of Mr. E. May, Devon Street, New Plymouth. The Rev. A. H. Collins officiated. The bride, who was given away by her 'brother,'Mr. H; McKinna, of Chrisbchuroh, was daintily attired in a dress of white crepe de chine, hand-worked in silk roses and pearls, and she also wore the usual veil and orange blossoms. Miss E. Cross, of Christchurch, acted as bridesmaid, and was handsomely dressed in maize taffeta silk, hand-worked with beads, and a black picture hat. Miss Gladys Ward, of Christchurch, was flower girl, and she wore a dainty dress of cream net and a mop cap. Mi. Norman McKinna was best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a gold pendant set in aquamarines and pearls, and the bride’s present to the bridegroom was a travelling rug. The bridegroom’s present to the bridesmaid was a gold ring set with an olivine, and io the flower girl a gold brooch. After the ceremony a reception was held at May and Arrowsmith’s tea rooms and the happy couple subsequently left en route for Christchurch, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride’s travelling costume was of Princess Mary blue with nigger brown hat.
