WEDDING.

FORD-NAIRN. A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Eltham, by the Rev. E. -J. Orange, on Tuesday last, when John Harold, second eon of Mr. and Mrs. L. Nairn, of Eltham, was married to May Bertha, second daughter of Mr. Arthur Ford, of Omoana. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a blue saxe costume and a hat to match, trimmed with gold. Mr. C. Reader acted as best man, while Miss Nairn, cousin of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. The bridegroom's present to the bride wae a handsome brush and comb. After the ceremony the bridal party, accompanied by numerous friends, partook of a sumptuous eupper at the Oddfellows’ Hall. After the •breakfast the happy couple left by car, en route for Palmerston North, amid showers of best wishes from their many •friends.
