The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s August meeting concluded to-day in dull weather, rain Setting In late in the afternoon, but not affecting the track. There was a large attendance. It was a day of big dividends. The totalisator investments were £62,569. making. £170,253 10s for the meeting, against £162,384 10s last year. Results: MID-WINTER HANDICAP.—Sherry (J.
