ARBITRATION COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 10. At the marine dispute in the Arbitration Court, Mr. Justice Frazer intimated that the court would not make an award in the present case until it had dealt with all the other disputes dealing with the seafaring industry, including the waterside dispute. The disputes all had a beating on one another. THE TAUPO EARTHQUAKES. Auckland, August 10. Mr. D. W. Miller, in charge of the Oruanui School, who is in Auckland, states that there were 44 earthquakes there between July 30 and last Monday. Three were big shakes, though not so heavy as some previously felt. Last Monday, one shock lasted on a conservative estimate for half an hour. PROPERTY IN* RUSSIA. • Wellington, August 10. The Prime Minister was recently hsked what action was being taken in regard to the property of British subjects confiacated in Russia. From official replies it appears that this subject was to be donsidered at The Hague Conference. An assurance was given that the British Government was determined by every means in its power to secure recognition of properly-established claims. They can be registered with the Russian Claims Department of the British Board of Trade.
