Feck (Auckland) and G. E. Turner (Dunedin) 19. ties, 2. MANUKA S ROUGH PASSAGE. Wellington. August 1. The Manuka arrived at Sydney today, 24 hours late. The vessel encountered a strong easterly gale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with heavy seas which broke on board, smashed in Number 1 hatch, flooded the crew’s quarters and flattened the ventilators.
