SUPERANNUATION FUNDS.

STATE CONTRIBUTIONS. ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS. A statement asked for by Mr. E. Dixon (Patea). showing the amounts paid under statute to the State superannuation funds, with the amounts paid in excess, was laid on the table of the House last week. The various amounts paid under statute lor the ten years ended March 31, 1922, in respect of the Public Service, teachers’ and railway service, were set out as follows:

The amounts paid in excess were £20,000 to the Public Service in the financial year 1920-21, £25,000 to the railways in 191415, and £50,000 to the railways in each of the financial years 1919-20 and 1920-21, with an additional £50,000 paid to the same service on June 1, 1922.
