BUTTER AND CHEESE.
LATEST LONDON PRICES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The National Dairy Association has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated July 29: The butter market is inactive and there is nothing doing. The Scottish and northern markets have been lost to us through forcing prices too high. To-day’s prices are: Danish 200 s; New Zealand the same. No business is doing. For cheese there is better enquiry at the reduction. White is quoted at 86s to 88s and colored at 84s.
