HUNTING.
NORTH TARANAKI HUNT. Saturday’s meet of the North Taranaki Hunt Club was held at Mr. William Walton’s property at Waihi, and as the surrounding country is well sparred, there was a good attendance of followers. Several horses were present qualifying for the club’s forthcoming steeplechase meeting, and on the form shown there should be some interesting racing. At the conclusion of the day's sport the club was entertained by Mr. Walton and his neighbors, to whom the thanks of the club Were tendered The next meet will be at Mr. J. M. Mabin’s at Onaero, on Thursday.
